Sophie MUSABEYEZU, a Senior Clinical psychologist, Currently, She works with Organization Dignité en Détention (DIDE RWANDA) as Project Manager of the "Reinforcing community capacity for social cohesion through societal trauma healing program". She also coordinated "The Protecting Human Rights within Rwanda Criminal Justice System" project within DIDE. Her main duties was putting in place the psychosocial support framework for inmates psychologically distressed especially vulnerable detainees (Women and Minors) as well as the capacity building of criminal justice system institutions on subjects related to mental health. With 20 years' experience in psychology field, she has worked in different capacities within Pro-femmes Twese Hamwe as a Psychotherapist of SGBV Victims. She was working on the project aimed at "Fighting against Sexual and Gender Based Violence in order to reduce HIV new infections in all Districts of Rwanda". Her further experience includes work for Medecin du Monde France in Partnership with IBUKA (Umbrella of genocide Survivors Organization) where she coordinated a project at District level aimed at providing psychological and legal support for trauma victims and witnesses in Gacaca courts. In addition to this role, she provided trainings and clinical supervision for psychologists and mental health practitioners of other local associations. Sophie MUSABEYEZU is a Master's degree holder from University of Rwanda in Clinical Psychology and Therapeutics. She has also a Clinical supervision diploma From Institut Français de Gestalt Thérapie Saint Romain La Virvée; a Postgraduate diploma in Professional Counseling From Kigali Health Institute (Former KHI) and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from University of Rwanda.

Dr. Celestin Mutuyimana
Trauma focused and relationship psychotherapist
Celestin Mutuyimana is a clinical psychologist, psychotherapist and filmmaker with international expertise. Currently, Celestin is a post-doctoral researcher at Division of Clinical Intervention and Global Mental Health at University of Zurich department of Psychology, and in the Division of Psychopathology and Clinical Intervention and honorary affiliated to Collegium Helveticum in Switzerland/ETH Zurich. He has over 12 years of experience as a psychotherapist, specializing in trauma-focused therapy and relationship therapy. He worked with communities and families, and he has extensive skills in positive parenting and counselling of children. He is the founder of Baho Smile Institute, a psychotherapeutic center. He has been principal investigator co-investigator in different research projects of post-traumatic stress in post war zones countries in sub-Saharan Africa like Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania and global south especially in Ukraine and Afghanistan. His research interest includes trauma and stress related disorders, cultural clinical psychology, intergenerational trauma and development of digital culturally sensitive interventions that aim to give voice to trauma survivors to treat and prevent trauma sequalae and transmission, especially in post war zone areas in global south. He decided to embed filmmaking in his clinical and research work to bridge cultural gaps and contribute to collective empowerment through the universal language of storytelling, fostering understanding and empathy across educational boundaries. Celestin is passionate about promoting a healed society by doing research, development of digital culturally based interventions and showing the public the extent of the impact of mental disorders especially trauma and stress related disorders and the path to recovery.
